                      Things to Do!
Well there are literally HUNDREDS of things to keep you occupied during your stay! Brittany after all is a major tourist destination, although you will find the roads quiet in comparison with the UK no matter when you come.  Here is just a small selection of suggestions as to what you can expect to find...

The Lac au Duc (8 miles from Mohon) offers a great setting for safe and supervised swimming, a play area for children, watersports & boat hire. There's a gently slopng beach here plus grassy embankment by the water's edge, a friendly bar/restauant with its own decking area overlooking the lake, where you can while away and hour or two over a glass of wine - or two! There's also a place to buy snacks and ice creams with a terrace area, and a section with a splash pool for kids where there are two waterslides - great fun!

If you are feeling more energetic, why not hire a pedalo, or try your hand at canoeing, waterskiing or windsurfing?

Across the lake is the superb 9-hole golf course at the Hotel Roi Arthur. You can hire clubs here and simply pay and play. The restaurant here serves gourmet meals and there's also a bar open to the public. There is also a fantastic spa here so you can be pampered with a range of massage and other treatments

Josselin is an interesting medieval town, with a huge castle on the Nantes-Brest canal. You can hire boats on the canal, explore the narrow streets, visit interesting shops,  take a look at the Doll's Museum and don't forget the bustling market which lines the cobbled streets on Saturday morning. French markets are always fascinating to look around, with specialist stalls selling anything from sausages, artisan bakery, cakes, clothes, jewellery, flowers, soaps and olives.  You can even buy fresh spit-roasted chickens or try the local crepes and galettes.

Josselin has an abundance of reasonably prices restaurants to choose from too. There are information plaques around the town, celebrating its medieval history. At the tourist office  you can pick up a wide variety of leaflets and find out about local events during your stay

Ploermel was the seat of the Ducs de Bretagne. Here you will find the old town to explore, an Astronomical Clock with a fascinating history, plenty of shops & restaurants & a large Leclerc Supermarket.

Within 30 minutes, visit La Gacilly, an Artisan town full of interesting workshops.
During the summer the town hosts a photographic exhibition, with huge billboards of photos dotted round the pedestrian area. The Nantes-Brest canal flows through la Gacilly and here you will also find the & the Yves Rocher Vegetarium.

The Resistance Museum, detailing the history of the Breton Maquis in the Second World War, is found at St Marcel, near Malestroit, another pretty village which holds an amazing bi-annual Medieval Festival.

                      Rochefort-en-Terre, a famous 'Ville Fleurie'

Lizio, a characterful village, home of the 'Poete Ferailleur' with weird and wonderful automatons, plus the Insectarium and Eco-Musée which has to be seen to be believed!

The Prehistoric Park in Malensac is also worth a visit, with life-size dinosaurs and a history of early man.

The animal park of Branferé, (which is a favourite with our children) is where you can feed the goats and alpacas, see wallabies running about in the grounds, visit the 'Plains of Africa' and see an amazing bird show. It's a great day out!

Vannes, Poul Fetan, Zoo Pont-Scoff, Carnac with its famous Standing Stones, Quiberon, Sustino, St Malo, Le Mont St Michel. The list goes on and on!

In the summer time check out the town & village festivals. There are Jazz, Celtic, Medieval festivals, along with the village fetes and fairs. There's always something lively & entertaining going on!

Steeped in old traditions and Arthurian legend, offering great seafood and the specialites of cider and andouille (Try it you may like it... but then again...!) We leave lots of information about places to visit and where to eat,  walking guides & maps in the farmhouse, so you can explore to your heart's content.
