Mohon is an excellent base to explore the treasures of Brittany, both coastal and countryside. Here are some suggestions:
Within 15 minutes drive you will find:-
The Lac au Duc (8 miles from Mohon) offers a great setting for safe and supervised swimming, a play area for children, watersports & boat hire. Across the lake is the superb 9-hole golf course at the Hotel Roi Arthur.

Josselin is an interesting medieval town, with a huge castle on the Nantes-Brest canal. You can hire boats on the canal, explore the narrow streets, the Doll's Museum and don't forget the bustling market which lines the cobbled streets on Saturday mornings.

Ploermel was the seat of the Ducs de Bretagne. Here you will find the old town to explore, an Astronomical Clock, plenty of shops & restaurants & a large Leclerc Supermarket.
Within 30 minutes, visit la Gacilly, an Artisan town full of interesting workshops, & the Yves Rocher Vegetarium.

Slightly further afield are a host of other interesting places: Visit la Ferme du Monde, the animal park of Branferé, Vannes, Poul Fetan, Zoo Pont-Scoff, Carnac with its famous Standing Stones, Quiberon, Sustino, St Malo, Le Mont St Michel. The list goes on and on!
In the summer time check out the town & village festivals. There are Jazz, Celtic, Medieval festivals, along with the village fetes and fairs. There's always something lively & entertaining going on!
Steeped in old traditions and Arthurian legend, offering great seafgood and the specialites of cider and andouille (Try it you may like it... but then again...!) We leave lots of information about places to visit and where to eat, walking guides & maps in the farmhouse, so you can explore to your heart's content.
